Hi everyone!!
I have been a member of this forum for about a week now and you guys seem to be a fun group of wheelers.
I have been wheeling since about 1990 my Junior Year in High School when I took my brand new Suzuki Samurai into the mud. That was it for me and ever since then I have been wheeling. Since sold the Samurai in 1995 I have not done too much because I did not have a 4WD and was difficult to do that on a 2WD pickup.

I have always wanted a Jeep and finally last year I bought a 2006 TJ X and has not been away from mud and dirt for more than 2 weeks.

Since all my old stomping grounds here in West Palm Beach have been closed I only know of JW Corbett.

Here are some pics of my TJ

Thank you very much. That Jeep of the month contest is open for memebers o this forum?
The cool thing about that picture is that it was not planned. I was very lucky that my buddie was currently taking pictures when he saw me doing that stunt. :gun:

Hey Guys and Gals,
I've been on here a while, but never really posted a build thread or anything, but there is a link to all the pictures I've taken during my Rockwell build in my signature. I just got the steering and brake lines made today and put the driveshafts in last week, so now mine is nearly done. I just added some updated pictures, so feel free to take a look. I'm excited, mine is now "driveable", just need to finish up some things.

:welcome: Greg,

I'll come check yours out after work. And thanks for always letting me know when you guys are about to spray so I don't get any paint I don't want on mine.

And congrats to Rayne as well for finally being official! Yours reminds me a bit of my first one, but I think in much better shape.

It's actually not too terribly tall considering it clears 44s, it's only 93" to the top of the Jeep. I'm the 6'3" little guy standing next to it in the pictures. As for the spare parts, there are some left, but not a lot. The axles, old lift, shocks, steering box, and those things are gone. I still have the rear seat for a CJ with belts, the driveshafts from when I had it SOA with 2-1/2" lift springs, and some other odds and ends. What all do you need?

Hi, I have owned my '00 XJ since late '99 but it was 100% stock until earlier this year. It all started Dec. '06 on a camping trip to Big Cypress - I found out that in order to go on the trails at Bear Island, I would need an ORV permit and that required I have 9" inches of tread face - that was all the excuse I needed. It's a daily driver (albeit very miles) for the wife and I, so couldn't go crazy - not yet anyway. I went with a 3" BDS lift w/ steering stabilizer, lower and adjustable upper controls arms, fender trimming + Bushwaker flares, 15x10 AE Series 168 wheels and 32 x 11.50 BFG M/T tires. I just recently removed rear sway bar and added BDS front disconnects. To-date unused recovery points are front and rear 2" receiver hitches - I am a newbie at this, and have been pretty cautious so far. I did however mange to rip the passenger rear flare off on my first trip out to Bear Island - I have since had the front and rear bumpstops extended.

A couple of pictures of it way too clean ...

Nice Jeep :naughty:

How's it out at Bear Island? I haven't been there in a long while. Not since they officially reopened the trail anyway.

I have done both the Tree House and the Windmill Trail - enjoyed 'em both. I am new to the game so wasn't complaining about it not being challenging enough - loosing a fender was just the right amount of damage to make me feel legit. If I recall correctly, it was Tree House that claimed my flare. When I was out there the trails where pretty overgrown and it was real tight through some spots.
