Hello again, my name is Jeannie (Jeannie55 on most other sites). I posted last about two years ago. We no longer own the 2005 Jeep Wranlger that you see in my pic, we bought a new 2011 JK Wrangler 4 door with lift on 33's,snokel, wench bumper & painted smurf blue :).
My husband and I ride mostly with the MisFit Jeepers 3 times a year up at Richloam and go the the FL4WDA ride every year, I am now the Secretary to FL4WDA.
We would like to meet more people closer to home (Palm Beach Area)and possible ride, I know since they closed JW Corbett to ORV that its hard to find places.

I am so happy to hear from someone who lives In P.B.. What area? We live in Boynton Beach. I understand about Corbett, we use to ride every weekend, sometimes camping over the weekend so we could night ride.
Richloam up by Dade City is a lot like Corbett but bigger and more trails. We have a blast up there but it takes 4 to 5 hours to get there towing the Jeep.

I am in West Palm Beach not far from the airport.

I rode Richloam and Croom last year in January. Yeah it is a hike from here.
Sometimes I still go out to Corbett for a quick ride on Trail 6.
Since my Jeep is now setup more for rocks I tend to do more wheeling up in Ocala or out of state.

Hey y'all, I just recently moved down to Florida from North Carolina and just bought a Jeep since my last truck got right at 8 miles to the gallon. So I decided to buy a 1993 Grand Cherokee ZJ. Being from NC I love to go wheelin and also am looking for good parts for my Jeep. Message me for good trails and good places to get parts and shops. Thank you, John Eric Diekmann.

Take a look at the Vendor forum for parts, etc as well as clicking on some of the ads. The dealers have the Jeep parts and the other ads have the 3rd party mods that you might be looking for.

Unfortunately there is very limited areas to wheel in S. Florida, keep checking the lets go wheeling forum. Since you are from the W.Palm area most travel north and there is a few spots down south in the Dade County area. Most is mud except when you travel up to the northern part of FL. Take a look on these forums and post up or create a new topic if you have any questions. :ya:

I just purchased a 77 CJ7 on eBay and it's not everything the guy said it was. I love the Jeep but it does need a little bit of work. Does anyone know of a good, honest mechanic in the Ft. Lauderdale area?

Thanks
Scott
