Everything at work is done via SMS pushing out the software packages. I work in IT so I know most of the guys there but the rules are so tight with the Desktops/Laptops that it takes them very long to release or upgrade our apps. They basically do not trouble shoot any PC's instead they will re-image it if there is any problems. We have roughly 3,000 people working at the corporate headquarters which is one of the reasons they are so strict.
It is no big deal I just wanted to see who else was using IE 6 and advise them to upgrade.

1. So, what is fire fox?
2. If down-loaded does it partition the drive?
3. If you have IE7 does it delete it?
4. Does it have multiple tabs that open like IE7?
5. Where do you down-load it from?
6. Will Fire Fox work on VISTA I have IE7 on VISTA
7. Will you e-mail still work if it is PULLED to Outlook, or will you have to re-configure?
I would hate to down load it & do what my signature says, AGAIN!

It would be great if they are having the issue to say it so we know if it affects other browsers.
to avoid any confusion here is a screen shot of what I am referring to.

Better yet you can mail me the Vista Laptop and the router and I will mail you back something kinda semi-equivalent
Nothing will be impacted by simply installing FireFox.

1. Yes whe you first launch FF it will notify you that it is not the default browser and gives you the uption to set it as the default browser.
2. yup no problems there. ------> but remember only you have to reformat
3. I will ask you if you want transfer all bookmarks from current browser.
Once again I think Rollbar needs his very own Tech Support Forum created

Firefox was the first browser to support tabbed browsing. IE support for tabs, I think, came with version 7 after MS found a new feature they could copy, as usual.
