Removed my ARB bumper.
Had a new fan and fuel block put in.
Reinstalled my ARB bumper.
Replaced my parking lights.
Rewired my parking lights when they still didn't work.
Replaced battery.

I couldn't get everything done this week that I wanted to because Sergio refused to help me again.

Added fluid to my leaking D-300. The seal pan is leaking & I will take pics when I can get to it. Used 75-90W gear lube.

Went to put my Mud tires on @ 7am and on the last tire broke off 2 studs.... loads of fun fixing it .. Studs for the JK are about $5.00 bucks each so I picked up a few more for later just in case..

What did I do? Promised it a full fluid flush, then ran it into an Explorer. So it decided to bite back by refusing to fire up at work. I left it there. We're on no speaking terms right now.

Changed the fluids, wiper blades, repainted my driving lights, step bars, pulled the seats out, wire brushed the seat tracks, and coated them with paint.

That's awesome Skinner1

THANKS the paint on the rig was the original ...20 years old ....and was starting to wear and fade badly ...so just for provenative measures ...i got it prep out and shot a few coats on it ....i used (Awl-Craft 2000 )
wasnt interested in nice or perfect like my red 1 the finish has its flaws but i was aiming more towards protection sure i could of spent a week on it preppin and all that fixin scratchs and dents to acheive perfection but this jeep is to play in i just sanded it and buried it ....i think it looks kinda cool the gunmetal grey and black .

I think the theme to this post is "what U did to your rig etc." meaning items U have installed/things/modifications whether stock or aftermarket etc. Let's try to keep this productive and helpful for everyone who is interested. I don't care if you opened your door to your Jeep to get in, I'm looking at things done to your Jeep so I/others might gain knowledge etc. to improve their Jeep. If the one liners w/no basis (& we know what we are talking about here) etc keep popping up so post counts go up then we might have to move this to the chit-chat section where post counts do not add up for this reason alone.

Please enjoy the rest of the post & thanks for the great ideas/work being done on your rids.

sorry rollbar ....let me do alittle write up here on my job .

i used 280 / 320 sand paper to do the prep on the body of the jeep . to do the repairs ...2 rust spots is all i really cared about dealing with i ground the areas clean
used belzona 1911 to do the rust repair ....belzona is a total tuff filler that dries rock solid but isnt all that easy to sand but it can and is recommended to apply over raw metal areas you can fill up a snorkel hole with this stuff if you can get your hands on it ....and it will dry rock solid and done right you wont even know the hole was ever there .
then after the prep i washed the jeep done with soap and water ....i then followed up with T115 body wash prep ..it works exec. for removal of road tar and wax grease etc .( important note T115 is not to be used on plastics or flat paint finishes )
using Awl-Craft 2000 ( more durable then most enamel paints ) it takes exactly 2 QTS. of mixed paint to do a full color change 3 coats inc. underhood inside doors etc on a Y/J or T/J ......mixed 50/50/15% -1 cap ...........0094 hardner (liquid fire ) ..........awl-cat 2 catalyst
T0001 tropical reducer.
awl-craft 2 is nice paint it flows nice covers easy very painter friendly and your flash time between coats is about half the time of most enamels .

i hope this is alittle more informative to all . :biggrin1:
