MRSIG, did you modifie the air intake system when you added the snorkel. I definately like your snorkel much better than the one made by AEV.

Yes but the kit came with every thing you need but the hole saw to cut the fender well!

Nope Been though a bunch of washes! They only mess with your CB Antenna if you forget to remove it!

I just got the AEV with the ARB ram air top, I didn't like the bird feeder look of the AEV pre-filter... I can't do a RR because of the EVO Armor and was kinda worried about denting it if i did get it.
If you can get over drilling a 3" hole in your fender, the RR looks good.

No drilling... but you do have to cut the hood to the provided template, unless you have the AEV Heat Reduction Hood.
I like the RR as well, but I prefer this one. The AEV will also work with my future dual battery setup whereas the RR wouldn't.

You could probably install a long arm lift in the amount of time and an equal amount of hassle in putting down a JK windshield.. Not only that but I am not planning on a Caribou hunt anytime soon so I have no need to put it down... LOL!

This snorkle would be gone if it were on my jeep!
I also have the River Raider that is made of heavy gauge aluminum.
The trails and Gator ponds I've been in with no damage to my snorkle and no water getting into my engine is proof that I got my money's worth.
I've hit some good size branches and the snorkle actually prevented the windshield from being smashed.

I don't see how it would be "Gone" ... but ok. I like the RR too, but this one fit my application better.
This past weekend i put it in water up to the hood... no problem, hit branches.. no problem.
I'm glad yours works as good as mine...

I have Volant CAI on my DTS... I was anything but impressed with the quality of it, and ranging from all the complaints on the caddy forums I wasn't the only one. They kinda scared me off their products for a while... but I am very interested in your review of it.
