Sup all, after exploring around for safari racks i came to find out there pretty damn expensive. So I decided to build one. I dont have picture by picture of the build because it was pretty straight forward. I managed to make it for under $20.. I had some old steel water pipe laying around work, started cutting them up and welding them together. When all was done I purchased some flat black spray paint and 4 hose clamps. I used the hose clamps to tie down the rack to the XJ stock roof rack. I weigh 280Lbs and was able to stand on the 150lb tire that was already on the roof rack with NO FLEXING of the pipes at all. Homegrown offroad is currently making tabs so I can mount the lights.

Will post up more detail pics when the lights are up.

you provide the materials and you paint it yourself, I'll make you an exact replica of what I have with any little mods you want for $100 I can have it made in about 2 hours on any saturday.... I can make it out of steel water pipe, eletrical condiut, or similiar metal. NO ALUM!!!! IF you feel its not worth $100 take a close look and make me an offer. I never made them for somebody before
