If I'm not mistaken you get an automated message from JT when it's due. You can always go to your member control panel and see your Paid Subscription dates there.

We are trying hard to get all of it implemented in a few days before we tackle the Market Place modifications.

We want to make sure that all is tested and respond to any issues a Premium Member might have once its in place.

The upload of files is a neat feature as you can actually share a large file, picture, program, document, etc. Some private email servers do not handle the receipt of a very large single file and kicks it back. You will be able to monitor your uploads from your control panel no matter where you post them, even if you send one by private message. Upload and delete as you wish.

All the changes and modifications to these new features have been implemented and are now working.

Please check and report back if you see any problems.

The first post of the topic has been edited to reflect some instructions and limits if any.

Please make sure that each of the new features are working for you or at least see them.

Enjoy,

Those of you that are Premium Members, please check all the new features listed on the first post to make sure that they are working and report any problems here on this topic.

Clarifications on some of the features:
1. When you wish to attach a file (not an image) to a Private Message to a Non Premium Member, they will receive it and will be able to download. A Non Premium Member can not attach a file to send to a Premium Member.

2. Do not make a mistake (when you are creating or replying to a post) and attach a file to a post thinking that you are going to link to a picture. Most of the Member population will not be able to download or see this attachment on the post if they are not a Premium Member themselves. If you want to show a picture on a post it is best to upload to your personal JT Gallery and then use the url from this image to link to the picture. It will now show on the post and everyone on the Web can see it. Keep in mind that the url of the picture on your JT Gallery can be linked or posted anywhere on the Web, does not only have to be here on the JT board. Attachment are usually for a music file, document, pdf, etc.... not images. They can be images but they will only show as thumbnails or file names that only Premium Members can see on a public post. Again, if you send by PM they will be able to get it but if you expect one back it is not going to happen.

We have now added #8 feature to Premium Members as part of the membership. See the first post of this topic.

8. Your very own @jeeptalk.net email address that will forward to your current email address.
Premium Members that want this must go to the "Contact" Tab on the top right of each page and advise what name@jeeptalk.net they want along with email address it should forward to. First come first served in the availability of names.

For those JeepTalk Members that have Option 2 (highest option) or the Premium Membership;

It has been decided by the Management of JeepTalk that the Gallery space be increase from 100 Mgbs to 150 Mgbs at no charge.
All of the other benefits remain the same and they are listed on the first post of this topic.

To all Premium Members, we thank you for your support.

Our Premium Membership support for JeepTalk has been slowly growing and we thank you for all the help to keep JeepTalk alive. Every little bit helps.

Some of the Premium Members have been asking to clarify file attachments vs linking images.
Please read Post #8 Number 2 and it shall be a bit more clear. If something is not clear post and ask.

We are thinking of Alphabetizing the Premium Member's Gallery by JeepTalk User name. Right now the Gallery Membership is not that large but I can see this being handy if a JT General Member is doing a scroll by pages rather then using the search feature. I would like to get some feedback if we should leave it the way it is or go Alphabetical even though you can use the search feature of the Gallery.

Aphabetical by member name.

Not a problem, I'm sure you missed it. On the first post, the last sentence, see below.

Tips for Premium Members:

Those of you that send PM file attachments to a Non Premium member should note that they will be able to receive and download those attachments. However, take note that a Non Premium Member will not be able to send a file attachment.

Premium Members might want to delete old file attachment that were previously sent from their member control panel.
This will keep space allocated (no matter how small) for the Premium Member to it's maximum.

You might also want to delete older attachments that were posted in a topic reply. Take note that when you do this on a post, the only ones that can see and download this attachment are other Premium Members (not the same as as PM). In the past Premium Members have mistakenly posted a jpg picture as an attachment rather than linking the picture from their gallery to a post so that everyone can see it.
