Rollbar. Is this thing safe? I tried one last week and had to pay to disconnect.

Have you installed it?

The one I tried was from CBS.com It was supposed to be $14.95.... when I hit the 'purchase' button it said congratulations your credit card will be billed for $42.99 !!!
I called them but they wouldn't back off on the 'download' charge even though I didn't download it.

Call your credit card company and tell them what you said here. They will dispute the charge for you.

Thanks, Pete. I did call them and they are removing the charge from my bill.

I also downloaded the Live TV. It makes a tool bar on the top of the browser. It has radio, tv, and link buttons. There is also a search function. The available tv is less than impressive. IF you want to see tv from around the world it is ok. Not too many choices in English.... Gets the Al Jazeera in English too. The sports channels available are all crap. Handball in the Netherlands must be popular somewhere...there is also ESPN. The news channels are poor too. I am watching Fox news from New Orleans except I doubt they are still broadcasting lastnights weather on their actual tv channel...
The popup screen is 3"x2.5" and can't be sized. It stays on top so I am having to move it around to write this...

I am waiting to see if I get any football this afternoon. If not, this thing is gone.

Well, now I went to Best Buy and got a "PCTV HD" receiver. (about $85). I can sit out on my screened in porch down by the cement pond and watch all the local channels plus others. They are in HD too!!! Verrrry nice.

Just plug it into a USB and start watching.
