here's a quick (and greatly abbreviated) story....
in october 2004, my best friend from college and i "upgraded" our relationship after 15 yrs of best friends
in september 2005, after months and months of looking for a house, we settled on this one. it needed a little work...
we got the central a/c installed and were able to let it run for about 6 hours before wilma showed up and changed the plans...
i convinced her that with a little hard work.....
and a VISION.....
and some more hard work.....
this place could have some potential.....
i really wanted a garage (read jeep upgrade center), but this was the next best thing...
and it also turned out ok...
we changed over from the 'pepto bismol pink' and went to a 'favorite tan'...and added new impact windows all around...
and new soffit and fascia...
since those projects turned out ok....i went for the gusto....
rip the flat roof off and go with some pitch....
and new shingles on the whole roof.....
so now the exterior is done, from a structural point. we still need some stucco work and will build a deck later and add a nice circle driveway, but we're back to inside now.
behind this visquene wall is what will evolve into our master suite...again...it takes some vision...
a glimpse....but, again....lots of vision required
