as many know, holly and i are in the midst of a major remodel on the house. we're doing the rough plumbing for the new master bath. have about 30' of 12" wide channels cut in the concrete floor. lines are cut and it is being busted up into pieces with a jack hammer. i need a lackey (or multiples) to remove all of the concrete out of the channel so i can run new 4" sani pipe (some swinging of a 20# maul might be required). anyone looking to make a few extra bucks for some not-so-easy work, please inquire (or if you're looking for a real workout without going to the gym). 305-no spam-798-no spam-3335

I'll call you.
BTW, I had no idea the kind of remodeling mess you had got yourself into until I saw that photo. Wow!

here's a quick (and greatly abbreviated) story....

in october 2004, my best friend from college and i "upgraded" our relationship after 15 yrs of best friends
Posted Image

in september 2005, after months and months of looking for a house, we settled on this one. it needed a little work...
Posted Image

we got the central a/c installed and were able to let it run for about 6 hours before wilma showed up and changed the plans...
Posted Image

i convinced her that with a little hard work.....
Posted Image

and a VISION.....
Posted Image

and some more hard work.....
Posted Image

this place could have some potential.....
Posted Image

i really wanted a garage (read jeep upgrade center), but this was the next best thing...
Posted Image

and it also turned out ok...
Posted Image

we changed over from the 'pepto bismol pink' and went to a 'favorite tan'...and added new impact windows all around...
Posted Image

and new soffit and fascia...
Posted Image

since those projects turned out ok....i went for the gusto....
Posted Image

rip the flat roof off and go with some pitch....
Posted Image

and new shingles on the whole roof.....
Posted Image

so now the exterior is done, from a structural point. we still need some stucco work and will build a deck later and add a nice circle driveway, but we're back to inside now.

behind this visquene wall is what will evolve into our master suite...again...it takes some vision...
Posted Image

a glimpse....but, again....lots of vision required

ps - yes...living in it all this time! (yeah...she's a saint.)

The kitchen looks fantastic and the rest of the work looks great. I thought I was bold putting in and drywalling a loft for my daughter but you got me beat by more than the country mile :2: .

Congratz on the project and kudos on the good job  .
