Read the book on brake bleeding, U might have air in it still. On a Cj U have to hold open the P-Valve to bleed then correctly but i have never done it & have not had a problem. I just did a complete brake job on the '86 today w/wheel cyl etc & she stops on a dime. I used the safety stop brakes from Napa & it feels like I put a yJ booster in, now I have to be careful how I apply the brakes.

I never had to hold th P-valve to bleed the brakes of my 84 CJ. I have ordered the manule for this jeep off one of your forums where U passed on a link.

?
U have power brakes from what I remember. Did U bleed the brake system w/the engine off, if so OK, if on, not OK. U have to bleed the system w/the engine off & pump up the brakes etc. U can also take it to Tire Kingdom & they will power bleed/flush the system for 70 bucks.

There is a tool to use but first R U sure all your fittings R tight from the cyl install, double check, U might have a leak if U R still loosing fluid.
